Coming home from a win at Centennial, the Louisville-Weeping Water baseball season is coming to an end. The team has shown improvement in every area, but stats show that the team's batting average has increased by .100, which means they are doing a lot better than before.
“I think we have gotten a lot better since the beginning of the season and our recent games are showing it,” said junior Alex Sorensen.
Taking a look at what both of the schools think of the co-op is great.
Weeping Water player Brayden Harms said, “I’m glad our schools did this together since I’ve gained some of my best friends from this team. I think that the two schools are doing great together, we are all friends, and even though the seasons are almost over we all play Legion so we still have time to be together.”
This team is a family and they have been playing ball with each other since they were young. Now that they have the opportunity to play on the same team, it means a lot to them and their parents. No matter if they win or lose, they are one.
