Application for Steering Committee

The Louisville Public Schools Board of Education would like to create a district steering committee that contains both patrons and employees of the Louisville School District. The goal of the district steering committee is to evaluate current facility challenges, needs and solutions, as well as review updated enrollment projections and potential budget and tax impacts related to continued district and facility growth. The committee will consist of 25 – 30 Louisville patrons and employees of the school district.
 
Commitments to the Louisville school district steering committee will entail:

1.) Attendance at multiple evening meetings, including identified board meetings in which related 
      information will be provided.
 
2.) Participation in conversations regarding the potential growth of the district and facility needs.

3.) A willingness to share your thoughts and provide input to the district.

All applications should be provided to the school district by Monday, April 19, 2021. The school board will evaluate all applications and select committee members prior to the May 10, 2021 Board Meeting. If you are selected for the committee you will be notified prior to the May 10, 2021 board meeting.
